SECURITY & VULNERABILITY

Motorola Voice welcomes input on potential security vulnerabilities so that we can take appropriate steps to maintain the security of our products and systems. This page explains how to report a vulnerability, what you can expect from us, the current status of known issues, and how long each of our products receives security updates.

• REPORTING A VULNERABILITY

  You can report a suspected security vulnerability in a Motorola Voice product by email to [[email protected]]. Please encrypt sensitive information where possible [PGP Key Link].

  You do not need to provide any personal information, and reports may be submitted anonymously. We will not ask you for your name, telephone number or other personal details. If you would like us to respond, replying from an email address is sufficient — but this is entirely your choice.

  To help us address your report quickly, please include where you can:

  • Product impacted: model number and software version, if available
  • A description of the vulnerability
  • Steps to reproduce it, including any proof-of-concept or screenshots
  • The potential impact, and whether you are aware of any active exploitation
  • Whether you have disclosed the findings to anyone else, and to whom

   

  This page is only for reporting security vulnerabilities. For product repair, installation or configuration help, functional software bugs, or product/feature suggestions, please use our normal Support channels.

• WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US

  • We will acknowledge your report within 5 working days.
  • We will keep you informed with status updates at least every 30 days until the reported issue is resolved.
  • We will work with you to understand and resolve the issue, and we will credit researchers who follow coordinated-disclosure practices and do not publish details that could be used to create an exploit before a fix or mitigation is available.
  • To protect our customers, we ask that you allow reasonable time for a fix or mitigation to be distributed before any public disclosure.

• STATUS OF REPORTED VULNERABILITIES

  We publish the status of known security issues affecting our products so that the information is available to everyone affected. Statuses are updated until each issue is resolved.

   

  No vulnerabilities are currently under remediation. Resolved issues will be listed below for transparency.

• SECURITY UPDATE SUPPORT PERIOD

  Each Motorola Voice connectable product receives security updates for a defined minimum period. Where a product cannot be updated to the latest software, its individual support period is shown.
